Creake Abbey

As a solo instrumentalist,  Terry's music has proved a popular addition to all sorts of events both indoors and outdoors from craft fairs to large country shows, various festivals and private parties.   Recent events include private functions in the City of London, The Hadleigh Show, Lavenham Spring Crafts, Strumpshaw Tree Fair, Sandringham Food, Craft and Wood Fair, Sandringham Flower Show, Burghley Country Show, Creake Abbey Arts & Craft Fairs, Wingfield Barns Craft Fair, Rural Pastimes at Euston Park, Weald Country Show,  Purleigh Country Show and various other venues including Mid Suffolk Light Railway, St Peters Cultural Venue Sudbury, Hadleigh Town Hall/Guildhall and  Trentham Gardens in Staffordshire.

The music is mainly traditional with a few musical twists along the way and includes everything from haunting celtic aires to  lively jigs, reels, hornpipes, polkas and other tunes from around England, Wales, Scotland and Ireland.  All the music is played on either acoustic or electric mandolin depending on the event and the venue. Most off the tunes are accompanied with pipe drones, percussion loops or his own backing tracks.

Terry also plays mandolin and mandola with a well known Norfolk based Ceilidh/Barn Dance band and as half of a lively duo playing popular Irish songs and music all over East Anglia and beyond.

Some recent comments and feedback

We all just want to say a MASSIVE thank you to Terry for the wonderful music he performed

at my fathers wake. He was everything we required, bang on time,
very attentive towards the needs of the night and everyone commented at just how great a player he was.
A true professional and would recommend to anyone for any occasion.
So thank you once again. 5⭐
